COMING TOGETHER, NEAR OR FAR
Does the idea of a “Virtual Class” have you feeling more intimidated than seeing a tornado on the forecast? No worries, I’m here to help.
I get it. We aren’t all technology warriors. The good news? You don’t have to be a tech stud to join our virtual classes and keep fit.
This article will tell you EXACTLY what to do, where to find the classes, how to sign up and what each class is!
Connecting to our virtual classes is actually super easy.
1. Setup a workout space in your house. We recommend approximately 8′ x 8′ with overhead clearance if possible.
2. Grab a phone, tablet, or computer with internet connection and click this link (10 MIN AHEAD OF TIME FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS!!).
3. The first time you join, you’ll have to download an app. It’ll do it automatically.
4. Once it downloads, you are in! Just point the device towards you so it can see you and you can see it.
5. If you want sweet tunes, then set up a speaker NOT connected to the device you are using to connect to our class.
MAKE SURE THE AUDIO ON THE CONFERENCE DEVICE IS LOUDER THAN YOUR MUSIC SPEAKER SO YOU CAN HEAR US COMPLIMENT (OR CORRECT) YOUR SQUATS DURING CLASS.
SO WHAT’S THE BEST DEVICE SETUP?
I’ll answer your question with another question, “How techy are you my friend?”
We will use the video conference technology, Zoom, to host our classes over the next couple of weeks. All you need to know is that it will let our coaches see (and correct) you and let you see us (and your classmates).
So the obvious question…how do you connect?
OPTION 1 (GOOD)
THE EASIEST (YOUR SMARTPHONE)
The absolute easiest thing you can do is to use your phone and simply click on this link. It’ll have you download an app quick, but then you just set up your phone so it can see you and you can see it and you are done!
PROS: Super easy setup.
CONS: Super small screen. We can see you fine…it’ll be tough to fully see us.
OPTION 2 (BETTER)
QUALITY MEETS CONVENIENCE
If you have a laptop or tablet with video capability, use it! That screen will be WAY bigger than your phone.
You’ll likely want to look at us. Not because we are pretty but because we will demo and coach some things for you. Just click the link at the top of this article and you will be good to go.
PROS: Much larger screen than your phone.
CONS: A little bulkier than a phone.
OPTION 3 (BEST)
If you want to be a virtual class boss, then connect your computer to a big ass TV or computer screen. Obviously that’ll require a space where you can fit one, but man it’ll be awesome.

PROS: Super easy to see our demos and your friends/classmates.
CONS: Requires space and access to a larger screen…and some knowledge of how to connect a computer to a screen with an HDMI cable.
Our coaches will "host/coach" the class through ZOOM. They have the ability to then automatically live stream the class into our Members Only Facebook Group. We would prefer if everyone who is participating in the class to join us through Zoom so that we can see you for corrections and coaching. If you are "spectating" and would like to cheer your friends on, or just have a fun reality TV Show to watch - you can still join through ZOOM and join the fun that way, or you can watch through our FB LIVE and leave comments in the text! Either way, we'd love for you to join us!
Alright, so now that we've covered HOW to join our Virtual Classes, let's chat about what options we have for our Virtual Community!
Our Group classes are offered on our growing schedule. As the weeks of COVID19 progress, we will continually update and increase our schedule.
What is the difference in workout options?
1. FIT CLASS
This stream is for those of you who are looking to continue with your progress in our Strength & Conditioning programs from home.
We give full description and demo's of the movements as if you have a full gym. But, we also give modifications based on very limited and/or NO equipment as well.
2. BURN CLASS
This stream of programming is for those who are more limited on time (keeping the workouts to 45 minutes or less), and with limited or NO equipment at all. Beginner friendly, no experience necessary.
What other COMMUNITY SESSIONS do we have available for our members?
1. Sip n Stretch
This is our LIVE MOBILITY session with our amazing Dr. Steven Scappaticci. Our online schedule will show you when he is hosting for you to join. Please join these sessions as detailed above through ZOOM.
2. Social Hour
This is our LIVE Social hour that our coaches will host sporadically throughout the week. This sessions is intended for as much 'face to face' interaction, to have fun conversations, lighten the mood, enjoy each others company and share a few laughs! Please join us through our ZOOM link that will be posted as coaches choose to host these events. No need to sign up, just join in on the fun!
